We have all said it, but in the great overseers of the wonderful world of Chips and Crisps claim we are nothing more than snack consumption conspiracy theorists.
Okay, they don't, but in this case at least, it has proven to be true.
A spokesman for PepsiCo admitted that Classic and regular flavored Lay's Chips come in 10-ounce bags and flavored Lay's come in 9.5-ounce bags. At those sizes, all bags have a suggested price of $4.29.
And it is those flavored Chips that the corporate behemoth can use to help tackle the fall in profits of snack foods, and their own companies tiny fall in profits.
