Verdict

Flavor color coded bags - Check. Small logo – Check. Larger flavor description – Check. The bagel line drawing does not really do the job but they would look different if they had to compete on shelves for eye-catchiness. As an in-store brand they do not however have to do that, so the design is fine in what it is attempting to achieve

Crunch

Clearly hardened by cooking oil, yet a gentle, satisfying Crunch that was not at all brittle. In fact they surprisingly degraded in a sustained fashion

Texture

Oil hardened, curls and lots of oil boils, plus a generous coating of orangish brown seasoning. Not much to be added because it doesn’t get much better than this in the Texture department

Taste

A Nose Plunge Test revealed a smoky Barbecue aroma. This was followed by a sticky and almost sickly sweet Barbecue flavouring that was perhaps a little too mild
