Heyroo Consomme Taste Kettle Chips
There was no significant aroma when the bag was opened. Consomme is often a watery soup without much flavour, or that is my impression, anyway. It is alleged to be a richly flavoured stock or bouillon. Unfortunately, my impression was nearer to the mark, as this was replicated nicely with these virtually flavourless chips. There was a touch of salt, though. (13) Heyroo Honey Butter Kettle Chips
There was a very sweet and creamy aroma that was replicated in the taste. It was somewhat reminiscent of buttered popcorn. The honey was present, but it was hiding behind a thick slab of buttery greasiness. Some were excessively sweet. This part of Asia seems to enjoy sweet chips and these are incredibly popular in the region. (17) |
