Orionworld Onion Potato Chips
These smelled like cheese and onion chips when the bag was opened. The taste denied me surprise cheese, but they were particularly milky and creamy with a slight sweetness. Almost like a gently fried caramelised red onion. (13) Orionworld Original Potato Chips
As plain as plain could be. There was a light touch of salt, but apart from that, it was the usual warm potato nothingness. (11) Orionworld Caribbean Grilled Wings Chips
A Nose Plunge Test revealed the most remarkable aroma – Lavender. Yes, very odd. They were sweet and spicy and tasted like fowl of some description. There is no denying that there was something very Chinese and appropriate about these chips, but nothing particularly Caribbean. (15) Orionworld Chicken in Soy Sauce Chips
When I tested these, I did not know what the flavour was supposed to be, so it was a little like a blind tasting. They were sweet but familiar. When I learned the flavour it seemed quite obvious. They were not quite as nutty as expected, but mildly faithful, although very very sweet. (14) |
