There wasn’t much salt and what was evident was counter-attacked by a sort of stale potato taste. There was also some vinegar, but it was too mild to make me want to go back for more. A subtle but disappointing balance with forty percent less flavour than I would have liked. Others would be completely happy with this mild variety. (15) Master Kettle Cooked Chips 40% Less Fat Sweet Chilli Pepper
There was an almost syrupy sweetness to some chips and chilli to others. They were unique in that each chip seemed to include seasoning, but was different to the next chip. Overall, they were somewhat mild, but the pepper trickery was fun. (19) |
Master French Cheese Potato Chips
There was a pungent cheese aroma when the bag was opened. They were certainly cheesy tasting, with one simple ingredient – Mild cheese. There was an after kick though, which was surprisingly welcome. (13) Master Salt Potato Chips
The first thing to mention was the bag was very well filled. Something that would be acknowledged by chips and crisps eaters worldwide who believe their bags often includes too much air. There was a warming and mild salty aroma when the bag was cut open. The chips were almost traditional styled in their oily saltiness. They were not good quality chips, but they were moreish. (10) Master Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips
There was a slight vinegar smell when the bag was opened. This was replicated in the tasting. There was a distinctly mild vinegar but very little salt to balance it out. (9) Master Barbecue Potato Chips
They were densely cut for thin and crispy regular chips. There was a sweet and especially mild barbecue taste, but that was most evident when the mush got caught in my teeth. (8) Master Hot Chilli Potato Chips
These were basic looking and basic tasting. Although relatively innocent, plain tasting chips, while eating, I noticed there was a slight tinge of hot chilli with the aftertaste. (7) |
