Potato Chips Related Pins
US $350
In a similar vein to the sports related collectors cards, this is another area that crosses over into the Potato Chips & Crisps world. These pins are not just suitable for a sports card collector, but a badges and pin collector. And even then it is like a sub-section: sports pin collector. For the sake of this article it becomes a sub-section of a sub-section!

Breweriana: Pitcher
US $20
If there is a collectables marriage of convenience it would possibly be between beer and Potato Chips & Crisps. There was even a UK TV show called Two Pints of Lager & a Packet of Crisps - an homage to pub life. Breweriana is a massive area for collectables and antiquities. This Herr's Pitcher came out to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 1996.

Breweriana: Glasses
US $25
Julius Pringles was born in 1967 and remained in this design form until 1979, so it would be fair to estimate the age of these cocktail glasses to be within that age group. They were given away as a promotional gift by Proctor & Gamble.

Breweriana: Serving Tray
US $55
Perhaps the best example of a crossover collectable in this section. This is clearly a Miller beer tray, but the graphic design features an area for Potato Chips, which makes it a Chips & Crisps collectable by association.

Promotional: Inflatables
US $100
This is an inflatable raft that the seller says he believes is from the 1970s. The buyer also says, "I cannot guarantee this will hold air or if it does how long it will hold air." I think any buyer will think they know the likely answer to this. If you were selling something like this for $100 would you try to inflate it first? Irrespective of this, it really is a very exciting collectable, especially if in the appropriate field it is considered okay to repair inflatables. You can imagine it as a feature display in store. The day we looked, there was also a fully inflated promotional Pringles bed and an inflatable football helmet.

Promotional: Prints & Pictures
US $30 Famous American artist Norman Rockwell designed these prints for Ta-Tos Chips. They came free with a bag of 16oz Chips. You could easily envisage a long collectable life-span of something like this simply because of who the original artist was, but paper ephemera has a value unto itself, which experts in that collection field, especially when advertising or promotion related, will know only too well. Having said that, these four 10 x 8 inch prints of each annual season, would look very nice framed together. |

Promotional: Music Giveaway
US $100
This is an interesting collectable. It also features in the advertising collector's genre, but appears to have a crossover into another world of collections. A 33rpm paper record or flexidisc, as they also became known, but not by a popular, or even remotely known artist. The Shadows of Knight singing 'Potato Chip' was given away free with a bag of Fairmont Potato Chips in the 1960s.
