Kaldi Coffee Farm is a Japanese grocery store brand that have created this unique Potato Chip. The bag features modern hand written fonts describing the flavour on a white slatted wood backdrop. There is a neat pile of stacked Chips and a 60s style graphic of a bottle and glass of red wine plus a an intriguing photo of a Black Truffle

Crunch

Surprisingly for such thin Chips, these did not turn to instant mush like so many Regular Chips. Instead there was a relatively calm and peaceful degradation

Texture

These were light and very delicate. Perhaps the thinnest Chips we have seen for some time. They were pale yellow with no visible seasoning. There were light boils on the unbroken Chips

Taste

Having only ever eaten Truffle as shavings on top of an expensive pasta dish I cannot presume to know for sure that the aroma was Truffle, but it was certainly unidentifiable to us. It was however somewhat earthy and not very nice. This was followed through to the flavor which could not be described as altogether pleasant, but that does not override the fact that it was fairly true to its flavor description, if a little salty
