Whether they be made from Sweet Potato or extruded snacks of different ingredients, its seems many are either higher in calorific content, salt and even sugar.
Of course, none taste as good as good old fashioned Potato Chips and Crisps, but consumers are being persuaded, whether literally or with clever marketing tricks to believe they are better for them.
Fortunately the national media are gradually learning about what we have only been too aware of from the beginning of this new snacks fashion.
