Aubrey D. Rebel Habanero Bar-B-Q Chips
Dark and well coated, these chips reinforced the statement made on the bag – They were xxxtra hot looking. Unfortunately, that was all it was – A very hot and spicy chip with very little variation of flavour and not enough to recommend it above their other options.

Aubrey D. Rebel Chipotle Hot Wings Chips
These darkish red kettle chips were smothered in seasoning. The taste replicated this. They were hot, but the chipotle, as is often the case, was overwhelmed by what could only be described as a seasoning rub. The type of which you would spread across your chicken and then wish you had worn gloves. The aftertaste lingered for quite some time, and smoky essence was still erupting from the bag as I recovered.

Aubrey D. Rebel Jalapeno White Cheddar 
A Nose Plunge Test revealed the familiar aroma of hot and ready, jalapeno. For some reason, it is one of the easiest and more distinctive flavours for chips companies to create - Almost all get it right. I have no idea why they felt they needed to include white cheddar, but I can only suspect it was to temper the heat and thus enable them to add a ‘Mild’ variety to their range. Perhaps it did. There may have been a creamy backdrop, but in the end, this was a fiery hot jalapeno flavour that included a similar tongue bashing aftertaste.
