Crispo DenmarkCrispo Denmark began life in 1992, with a plan to produce and sell hand-made Potato Chips for both the domestic market and for exporting to Europe.
Crispo is now a well established Danish snacks producer with 25 employees. Everyone is accountable and a democratic process allows for ideas to be auctioned quickly. The company’s mission statement is to be different in a positive way. They claim their products MUST be a healthier and more natural alternative to the traditional Chips available in the marketplace. “Therefore, we never compromise on quality, which makes very high demands on our employees and our suppliers.” The Chips are made from unpeeled potatoes, cooked in peanut oil and there are no additives. The Chips are cooked in open Kettles and always "by batch". Production methods are very similar to the way Chips were cooked in the old days. The finished result is a thicker and crisper Chip. The Chips are free of trans fats. |
