We were simply looking to make the perfect potato chips, after being disappointed with the industrial potato chips on the markets — all of which tasted exactly the same. We wanted to make the perfect chip, no less, and wanted to bring back the artistry in cooking our food. We decided we want to cook the old fashioned way, by carefully cooking each batch to perfection and to make no compromises in the ingredients we use. We didn't want to make a good chip, we wanted to make the perfect chip — made from real ingredients and cooked with finest refined sunflower for the best tasting chip with the biggest crunch and a signature bite.

Kettle Studio Naked Sea Salt Kettle Cooked
I saw all five flavours in the Mumbai store but did not have sufficient rupees for all of them. I can't believe I always fall into the same trap - Why buy the flavourless version when others are available? That's a rhetorical question that I did not need to answer. Although reasonably thickly sliced they were basic chips. There was a hint of salt, which is what I presume they were going for, but the overriding flavour was greasy potato. (13)
Kettle Studio Crushed Paprika & Exotic Spices Kettle Cooked
I saw the words 'Exotic Spices' and it was a no brainer. A Nose Plunge Test revealed a good hit of mixed spice leaning towards the pepper side of the spice game. There was mild paprika and a hint of cayenne, but the balance was with the mixed spices, which were not readily identifiable. The experience was mild and rewarding. (14)
