This review may appear a bit contradictory when compared to reviews of similar bag designs. In essence, it has no design. It is bland and lacks character. However, each different flavor color coded bag features a bright contrast between the main body of color and the silver waves. The brand name pops and the Chips float nicely in the centre. As it is such a striking effect it actually overcomes many of its design flaws.

Crunch
As the Ridged nature of these Chips required additional thickness there was an expectation of a meaty munch. However, the crisp snap of the initial bites quickly turned pulpy.
Texture
These Ridged Chips had fairly thin Ripples that were not at all deep – they were almost undulations rather than Ridges. There was a greasy, crumbly surface, and the coloring was yellow with some brown aged potato areas.

Taste
A Nose Plunge Test revealed a slight citrus aroma. As there were brownish areas on some Chips, this suggested the potatoes may have been stored a little too long or the colour had not been completely blanched from them. This invaded the flavour that although certainly citrus in essence, was as much Lemon as it was Lime. They were also as high in saturated fat as we had come across in a bag of this size.
