Verdict
Bag
Wise Kettle Cooked Chips bag designs are their best. They have a broad flavor color coded area on the bottom half, an old fashioned format for presenting the cooking style at the top. The logo is well designed, positioned and sized. The font is formal and the golden wording is classy. We believe we would improve upon it further by turning the great potato field graphic on their regular Unsalted Chips into a gray line drawing and including it as the white background.

Crunch
These Chips are irregular in shape, but there were not as many as you will often find in a Kettle Cooked Chips bag. This didn't however mean we couldn't find enough test subjects to have a munch on! There was a thick, firm and tasty crunch that saw the Chips crumble reluctantly.
Texture
When there is some potato skin on the edges of the Chips it almost confirms the All Natural claim, even if they do include a bunch of food additives and taste enhancers. The oil generated vesicles created a rugged landscape for bent, folded and curly Chips to enjoy. They were not as greasy as some Kettle Chips and had a powdery seasoning spread evenly about.

Taste
The first thing we noticed was that all the bad stuff featured on the nutrition label for these Kettle Cooked Chips were the same numbers as for Wise's regular Chips. Ordinarily, Kettle Chips are even less healthy! There was a slight Vinegar aroma, which was encouraging. The taste was an interesting combination of three rather than two flavors, because the potato was noticeable. The Vinegar almost had a slight sweet taste, maybe even a hint of Balsamic, but probably not. Nevertheless, the Salt was minimal, but the flavor was not overly dominated by tart Vinegar.
