Wise are one of the biggest and most established Chips companies in the world. Their bag designs will understandably have a bit of a corporate feel. The flavors are color coded, with nice shaded areas to compliment the colors. The Wise logo has shrunk and altered over the years but it is highly visible, recognisable and very well designed. The rotated square is original and not copied. The drawn central graphic along with the honeycomb effect is very warm and inviting.

Crunch
These Chips had a superior crunch to many regular Potato Chips. They were thick and meaty and had a fairly rigid break to them. It was only once they were popped into mouths that they began to mush up.
Texture
These Chips seemed relatively thick for standard chips. This may have explained why so many looked particularly flat. There was some browning rings on a few of the Chips and the odd burned edge. There was not much seasoning visible.

Taste
A Chips manufacturer would probably not use the phrase, 'Honeyed Barbecue' but that is what these were. They enjoyed a mild, sweet and tangy Barbecue seasoning, and if there was a hint of honey it would only have been when first munching into them. We are sticklers for an accurate description of a pairing and if they had taken the bold step of calling them Honey AND Barbecue, they would have been marked down.
