With a constructive critique approach, we would say the Utz logo is charming and historic. The colors are bold and bright, but oddly, they are not flavor colored, they just have random colors. Utz must be very confident of their position in the marketplace because all of their own brand bag designs are very dated and border on inappropriate for a modern market.

Crunch
The hardened oil within the deep fried potato slices, helped provide a snappy, crispy bite. A few eaten at once helped along an echo crunch, but the thinly cut Chips could not sustain more than a few bites before turning mushy.
Texture
An orange finger residue is always a good sign for a Cheddar Chip. The thin and crispy Chips lacked oil bubbles and character, but the seasoning powder redeemed them a little.

Taste
Ah, cheesy potato. Perhaps our favorite Nose Plunge Test result after Pepper. The taste did not disappoint either. These were full of flavor, medium strength Cheesy Chips, with a creamy undercurrent mixed in with salty and slightly sweet potato.
