As this is company branding we will let TGI Friday’s off the hook for this dreadful ‘un’design. There is a blue box and a poorly lit bowl of Chips underneath the flavour and the company branding. What it does however have is the red and white diagonal stripes that represent the company branding.

Crunch
These were very thickly cut Chips. This led to a crisp and even munch, and without labouring the Christmas theme this continued to be deep and crisp and even throughout until the last knockings when the mush stage popped through.
Texture
Although it clearly described the contents as Potato Skins, we thought that would be a descriptive term in keeping with the TGI’s theme, but no, they are not Potato Chips, they are possibly Skins. They were certainly brown like Potato Skins. Oh, okay, they are not Potato Skins, but rather a reconstituted Potato etc., product. There were also oil boils dotted around.

Taste
A Nose Plunge Test revealed a rather pungent Cheesy aroma, which augured well. The taste was quite unmistakable – Cheese and Bacon. It did not balance and combine perfectly, but there was a Salty Bacon flavouring that matched up with a rather plasticky Cheese pretty well.
