Verdict
Bag
The Seabrook logo is really well designed, but that is effectively the whole bag. The flavours are colour coded. There are two graphic Crisps, but that’s it. Actually, that’s not it – there was a gimmick to add to the Lattice Shaped Crisps. The bag was a tear and share bag where you peel back the centre to create a sort of bowl. This meant that you could not access the crumbs easily, but it also meant they could be sealed easily for further eating pleasure. A good idea, but poorly executed because the insides could not be easily accessed.

Crunch
This is a little unfortunate to describe – the very nature of the design meant they crumbled fairly quickly. The thickness didn’t help either. Having said that, there was a level of honesty about the Crunch that enabled us to overlook the direct flaws.
Texture
Lattice Crisps may be a gimmick, but it’s great fun. They are obviously thickly cut so the design can be sustained. As far as we are aware, they are the only designed, but non extruded snack in the UK. Good stuff.

Taste
We had to purchase two bags to make sure there was not an error with the first, but sadly our concerns were confirmed. There was very little flavour. The overwhelming taste was aged potato. Of course there was Salt and there was Vinegar (even though the Red Wine aspect appeared to be a bit of descriptive band wagon jumping), but they were so muted that the overall impression was one of great disappointment.
