Verdict
Bag
This variation of the Sainsbury's taste the Difference range has a purple block with al the related information with a backdrop of the variety in photographic form. Absolutely no effort has been spared to design an interesting product bag.

Crunch
There was a thick meaty munch to these Crisps. They were not hard and brittle, but they mulched up at a good rate.
Texture
These were thickly cut with relatively narrow Ridges. They were brownish in colour as should be expected. There were also some slightly darker spots from extra seasoning zones.

Taste
A Nose Plunge test revealed a certain alcoholic aroma that could easily be likened to a feint touch of Bourbon. They also included a highly evident meaty backdrop. There was an underlying sweetness, and yes, a clear Bourbon flavouring. We had to have a double try to confirm findings though. Suffice it to say, these managed to be true to their flavour description, the flavour description also sounded nice. However, for some reason it just didn’t quite work for us. That won’t affect the mark though, because taste is subjective, and these tasted like they were supposed to.
