Verdict

This is a really easy Bag review. Popchips have gone for fantastic bold and bright colors to represent their flavors. The wording is small and modern. There is a good quality photo-image of the style of Chips. "Never Fried, Never Baked" is inspirational as a leading bag headline.

Crunch

These had a crunch that could be described as 'different.' There was a very light crispy crunch, but it was loud enough to be considered alongside the Kings and Queens of Potato Chips, but it was let down badly by its immediate rush to become mushy.

Texture

We will be completely up-front about our grading system here. A perfectly formed Potato Chip is the most aesthetically beautiful thing in the world of Chips & Crisps. These looked like flat-ironed Rice Krispies stuck together to form shiny yellow polystyrene circular discs.

Taste

When you get a dark brown bit of baked potato skin. You know, the hard bit that you usually cut away and leave on your plate. Well, if you were to transfer that to a salty piece of polystyrene - that represents the flavor of these Chips to us.
