Verdict
Bag
Potato Chips packaging really doesn't get much better than this. It has bright and broad shelf friendly branding and colors. The logo and company name seems friendly and modern. The variety is given due prominence. The 0% 'bad things' is even formed as part of the branding. The different varieties have different colors and this flavor is dark which contrasts really well, for what is a rather regular flavor.
Crunch
An excellent crunch, as with most Kettle Cooked Chips. The firm nature of the chips made it feel like you were biting into food rather than the world's favorite snack food.
Texture
As with most Kettle cooked chips these are thicker than regular chips. Large in size and very few broken chips in the bag.
Taste
Aromatically, the peppery nature of this chip as you open the bag is just about right. Not too peppery. This is similar with the taste test. It could be argued that the salt is very much the base ingredient. The ground pepper taste is dominant, although not so much that it overwhelms the natural potato flavor.
