Verdict

Bag

Although the bag design appears to be aimed at children we will not judge One Potato Two Potato on this, despite what appears a rather cynical marketing ploy. Instead, our view in this category relates completely to design quality among peers. The big eyed cartoon potato characters are certainly original and the logo is also fairly prominent. The flavor description does not stand out quite enough and while we applaud the simple one color backdrop, it probably should not be white, which makes it sort of plain looking

Crunch

These were thickly cut oil hardened and blistered Chips and the Crunch matched that fact. We love a firm Crunch at Chips and Crisps, but these seemed a little harder than necessary. The Crunch was solid and brittle and remained that way throughout the eating process

Texture

An impressive feature when the bag was first opened was the quantity of large Chips inside. There was some skin on edges and there were large oil boils on the curled shapes. The coloring was a light yellow

Taste

Salt and Vinegar is a very British flavor which few US based companies get right. The aim is a strong, tart flavouring that balances, but these were clearly a little Vinegar dominant, with a very light backdrop of Saltiness.
