Verdict
Bag
The impression the overall look of the bag provides is one of masculinity. The emboldened ‘Ultimate’ and the cracked flavour colour coded rock wall design hints at 'man marketing'. There is a graphic of a Crisp in the centre. The rest is all a bit corporate and bland – it amazes us how the bigger the company the easier they are persuaded by bland and unimaginative designs by expensive design companies.

Crunch
These heavily Rippled Crisps were thickly cut, and this, as is often the case, led to a harder, food-like munch that featured a deterioration at a steady pace. The mulchy stage popped up about three quarters of the way in, but this did not detract from what was a relatively rewarding crunch given the thickness of the potato slices.
Texture
These are very widely cut Ridged Crisps. The cuts are almost square at their undulating best. They still manage to look like Crisps however, with a yellowish colouring affected by seasoning dots and slightly browned areas.

Taste
A Nose Plunge Test saw the freshly opened bag feature a peppery sort of aroma. The taste was however a little more simplistic than the bag’s claim that it was ‘Twice Flavoured’. There was a slight hint of Salt and a dominating but not overwhelming Pepper addition.
