Similar to the 'Ultimate' range, the impression the overall look of the bag provides is one of masculinity. The emboldened ‘Fire Pit Sizzlers’ and the fire on a backdrop of grey rock design hints at 'man marketing'. The overall impression is is all a bit corporate and bland – it amazes us how the bigger the company the easier they are persuaded by bland and unimaginative designs by expensive design companies.

Crunch
The extra thickness of these Crisps allowed for a firm and somewhat hard crunch. This was not however like Handcooked Crisps which often feature a brittle and even sharp crunch in some cases – instead it was almost biscuit-like in its munch.
Texture
The Ridges were medium width and the Crisps were solid. The colouring was orangish and dusty.

Taste
These Crisps are a bit of a throwback. The nutrition numbers are certainly a little higher in some cases than many of their UK peers. There was a particular sweet and smoky flavouring that would certainly be described as Hickory. There was also a good Ribs like backdrop to the smoky flavouring.
