Verdict
Bag
Jones' Potato Chips bag designs are not actually designs. They are just Potato Chips bags with the company name, the flavor name and color coding for that flavor name printed on them.
.
Crunch
If regular Potato Chips have a snappy munch and Kettle Cooked Chips have a rigid crack, these had a soft, almost flexible break. This was matched by the in-mouth crunch, which saw the Chips quickly turn into mushy potato.
Texture
Despite being more thickly sliced than regular Potato Chips, this bag of Marcel cut Chips featured a few broken constituents. A couple had a bit of potato skin on. There was no visible oil, but a Fore-Thumb Test revealed a fair amount of grease and seasoning residue. The seasoning itself was pale.

Taste
A Nose Plunge Test revealed a hint of Vinegar, which is usual for this flavor. Salt & Vinegar flavor was invented in the UK in the 1950s - it was just the second flavored Potato Chip after Cheese & Onion. The Brits achieved the aim of mixing the seasoning of their national dish; Fish 'n' Chips, and it was all about balance. Unfortunately, many Chips manufacturers over egg the Vinegar, as it were. Jones' are no different. Although there was a hint of salty potato, we found the vinegar a little tart and overwhelming.
