Verdict

Bag

The pack was very red. The writing was in red the logo is in red and the imagery of a Pizza and the Curls inside also had a reddish coloring. Not the worst design in Herr’s stable, but they really could do with a design re-think.

Crunch

Not a crunch as such, but more a munch. The first bite scythes through the solidity and the bright orange snack instantly turns to mush.

Texture

Familiar shaping and styling to the more famous Cheetos, these puffed Curls were dark orange in color with green flecks.

Taste

There was no way we could contemplate eating a whole bag of these. To use up 15% of our recommended daily saturated fat and 14% of our salt in one go, was a commitment we were not willing to take. There was a Cheesy Vinegar flavor that was somewhat reminiscent of those cheap microwave Pizzas. 
Lesson learned – Pizza flavor does not mean beautiful Italian heritage Napoli style heaven.
