Verdict

Recently updated packaging has seen Deep River keep their traditional logo, while also retaining their star-burst color contrast and the graphic kettle and sliced potato. What they have changed is the main bag color - each different flavor has a bold and striking color packet which will stand out on the shelves.

Crunch

Good, solid crunch, helped along by by its thick Kettle Cooked chip style. Crunchiness always makes a chip feel fresh and good quality.

Texture

Although Kettle cooked, the grease was at a minimum. There were rosemary looking flecks visible on the chips, which adds a quality snack feel. The aromatic rosemary smell added to the quality.

Taste

Although Olive Oil was one of the two main constituents, it was not overly greasy. The Rosemary aroma and taste makes for a unique quality variety of Kettle Chip.
