Verdict

Bag

Another great design for a Boulder Chips bag. The green compliments the color coding for the flavors well. It stands out on the shelves and is pretty Olive in color, which is ideal. The green also makes the logo pop, which is far better than the previous packaging, where the company branding was too large. We do however have a criticism - most flavors have a variety of ingredients, including scary scientific phrases. The ingredients listed for these are: Potatoes, Olive Oil & Sea Salt. If that is all, they could shout that from the front of the bag.

Crunch

These provided a crispier crunch than you normally find with Kettle Cooked Chips. There were not many overly oily Chips in the bag so the crunch maintained consistency throughout.

Texture

These looked a little like thicker than usual regular Potato Chips. They were clean and fresh looking with potato skin on many of the Chip edges. The bubbles produced on the surface from the cooking process were even less than usual with Kettle Cooked Chips. 

Taste

There wasn't much flavor to these Chips, but they were really warm and enjoyable. The perfect accompaniment for an all singing and dancing sandwich that needs a crispy crunch experience to go with it. They are Chips so they are not a healthy foodstuff, but they do provide the impression that they are as near to a healthy option as is available.
