Boulder Canyon have a wide range of Potato Chips and all feature different color bags, which is ideal for display purposes and customers are able to pick and choose easily. The logo has changed to a more modern style, which fits in well with equally modern peers. The Chips in the bowl are a good representation of the contents of the bag. A simple, modern and stylish graphic.
Crunch
The crunch was not consistent throughout the bag. Some were hard, firm and crunchy, others were less so, with little crispy crunch. They may have been over oily in patches.
Texture
Irregular shaped Potato Chips as you would expect from a Kettle Cooked variety. They were bubbly from the hot oil they were cooked in and there was plenty of orange coloured powdery residue for the fingers to get messy with.
Taste
After opening the bag quickly and nosing straight in, as it were - we found a pleasant hickory aroma. The taste matched. It was sweet and tangy and overall a very good Barbecue flavor. It was also reassuring to know that they were gluten free, had no cholesterol or Trans Fats.
