Bob's Texas Style have two green bags. This darker green and a lighter green with a gradual drift into yellow for the Three Cheese, milder version of this flavor. They do not clash, which is important because this is as good as Potato Chips and Crisps bags design gets.
Crunch
Although a little greasy these Chips were as firm and crunchable as any Kettle Cooked Chips we have enjoyed. And we did enjoy these. There are often soft and over oily constituents in a Kettle Cooked bag, no so with this bag.
Texture
A somewhat oily Kettle Chip, with some colored flecks and destabilised Chips areas to add to the boiled bubbles. There were a few smaller Chips and some folded and stuck together.
Taste
Open a bag and get a prime whiff of hot and spicy Jalapeno Pepper. There was a consistent, rather complicated blend of flavors that tasted a little sweet but very peppery. As good as most and better than many versions of the Chip. The manufacturers are obviously pleased with their effort because they have added a milder version with Three Cheeses. The high salt content would suggest a salty taste but that wasn't the case.
