Verdict

Bag

Goodness only knows what is going on with this bag design. It doesn't relate to the flavor and it's all manner of colors. Perhaps Dennis Hopper designed it while making Easy Rider! It really does need a re-think.

Crunch

They almost seemed Kettle Cooked, such was the oily nature of the Chip, but this did not effect the crunch in any way, which was a superior thickness style crisp crunch.

Texture

With potato skin clearly visible on the edges of many Chips, a fresh image and feel immediately springs to mind. There were some brownish Chips from older potatoes, possibly. There was also a powdery residue left on the fingers after extraction from the bag.

Taste

The success of Better Made's outstanding Barbecue flavor, understandably prompted them into creating an alternative to warm alternative palates. A spicy aroma on bag opening was followed by a sweet and sticky Barbecue taste. A very good alternative to their best selling offering.
