Verdict

Bag

There is only one criticism with this bag design - the Better Made logo looks out of place. They have to include it to continue the theme throughout their range and to ensure customers know who makes the Chips they are purchasing. The glossy and bold colors and graphic flag design certainly make Sicilian Style stand out. It is probably the best designed bag in the Better Made range.

Crunch

Thick regular Chips invariably have the best crunch and these certainly fit into that category. A very crisp sound as you bite into them and they do not melt in the mouth and go all sodden once you start chewing.

Texture

Many of the Chips seemed to be particularly flat, which was undoubtedly relative to the fact that they were thicker than most regular Chips. There was some skin visible on the edges and plenty of green parsley powder flecks which soaked up some of the oil, and despite a rather high saturated fat content, little residue remained on the fingers.

Taste

They could have been called Pizza flavor because that is what we got from them, even from the aroma that came out when the bag was first opened. The balance between the Parmsesan flavoring and the garlic was very balanced. A very enjoyable Potato Chip that lived up to its flavor billing. There is nothing worse than reading a flavor combo only to find one of them missing.
