Verdict
Bag
Another dark writing on dark bag error (it should be a lighter color), on an otherwise marvellous graphically modern bag design. The Beer Chips range, which this is presumably part of (it isn't made particularly clear), have really hit the target with a design that will appeal to all ages in a bar environment.
Crunch
Some Chips in this Kettle Cooked bag were a bit hard, which sort of felt like breaking rather than crunching. Although oily, generally speaking they were good, solid crunchable Chips.
Texture
Similar to the other Kettle Cooked Chips in the range, these come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with a lot of extra curly ones with some folded together. There was orange coloured seasoning, liberally and unevenly spread around the Chips.
Taste
We were prepared for both extremes; a watered down ketchup style flavor, or a hot and spicy masterpiece. The very notion of a Bloody Mary flavored Chip conjured up originality and innovation. If anything it veered disappointingly towards the former, although there was a little heat. A disappointing experience.
