No, no, no - you do not need to tell people that the Chips are 'Artifically Flavored'. We admire your honesty, and it should be included on the reverse of the packet, but to shout it proudly below the flavor description suggests a need for some marketing and design help (our email address is below for free consultation). We love the green color though. It stands out, but why the traditional stripes are not included, and it is wrapped around black letters, we would not know.
Crunch
The Ridges in the Chips aids crunchiness, but the oil used makes them melt a little in the mouth. It's not a usual Chip crunch, but that isn't a criticism. We like different!
Texture
The wide Marcelled, or Ridged cut, is impressive with these Chips. The onion powder also helps soak up a certain amount of the grease which leaves little residue on the fingers and less oil than others in the Ballreich's range. There are some green flacks, which we would imagine is parsley powder, to give it a green onion feel.
Taste
There is a mild onion smell when you open the bag. The taste also hints at a mild onion, which works well. It's a pleasant if not particularly striking flavor, if a little oily.
