Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit and cover a baking sheet with greaseproof paper. Crush the potato chips or crisps and mix with the flour in a mixing bowl. Cream the sugar and butter until fluffy in texture. Add vanilla extract to the sugar and butter mixture. Pour the liquid into the mixing bowl. Combine the mixture and form into small dough balls. Roll the dough balls in additional sugar and place in a baking sheet and flatten into cookie shapes. Bake until lightly browned.
