These had a traditional taste from a traditional tasting oil. This overwhelmed the flavouring somewhat, which was a great shame. There was a mild creamy backdrop, but despite the historic company and their reference to snack times of yore, they didn’t do it for me.

I always smile when I see a bag of Mr Bee chips. The little gentleman bee mascot is a blast from a classy and suave era. A nose plunge test revealed the familiar smell of tomatoes. They were coated with red seasoning and promised much, but the greasy oily backdrop aided to a soft mulchy and mild tomato. This provided a moreish but ultimately limited flavour.
