Pom Lisse Bolognaise Flavour Chips
Bolognese is a rather ambiguous descriptive term because there are a variety of tastes and ingredients associated with a good quality recipe, hence why so many Italian mums have the best bolognese recipe. There was no dominant flavour, or identifiable ingredient, but there was a tomato backdrop with a few herby reminder tangs.

As with all chicken flavoured crisps, these did not taste like chicken. Chicken is not a deep enough flavour to replicate as an alternative foodstuff. Chips and crisps manufacturers have therefore created a flavouring that replicates the seasoning that brings out the best of the taste of chicken. In this case, there are two claims: 1) Chicken and, 2) Rotisserie. Given the inconsistency of smaller manufacturers, I was very surprised to say these tasted just like their claim.
Pom’ Lisse Barbecue Chips
Although not the tastiest variety, there was a certain level of smokiness to a clear and recognisable barbecue seasoning. It wasn’t muted, but the lack of any sort of syrupy sweetness slightly compromised what was a pretty good eeffort.
