Verdict

Bag

Purple is an interesting colour, especially when they could have used a barbeque style colour like dark red or something, but it certainly gets the bag noticed on the shelves, which is what they want to achieve. Not sure about the paint brush - the impression is brushed Chips with the Baby Back flavoring, but it still isn't needed - what if there are brush hairs left in? There was no reason for the slightest negative thought. Aside from that the bright glossy colors make the bag and the flavor pop.

Crunch

The addition of the Ridges made for a superior crunch. The Chips were however thick which softened the blow a little. A few Chips were broken, but there were a good quantity of large unbroken and crunchable Chips in the bag.

Texture

The Ridged nature of the chips were exactly what it says on the pack, 'Wavy'. They were not quite as rippled as most Ridged Chips. The orange seasoning featured different shades and different levels of covering. A few had sections of skin, which was also good.

Taste

When the bag was opened a welcome Barbeque smell was emitted. The taste was a relatively mild Barbeque flavor and not really related to Baby Back Ribs. The mix with the potato starch worked well.
