Wise are one of the biggest and most established Chips companies in the world. Their bag designs will understandably have a bit of a corporate feel. The flavors are color coded, with nice shaded areas to compliment the colors. The Wise logo has shrunk and altered over the years but it is highly visible, recognisable and very well designed. The rotated square is original and not copied. The drawn central graphic of the grill doesn't quite look right, nor does the word 'Flavored' that seems to have just been stuck on when the designer worked out the Chips hadn't been basted with soggy Barbecue goo.

Crunch
These Chips lacked much in the way of oil bubbling, so the crunch was fairly standard and even. A few at once and they quickly turned pulpy.
Texture
Most of the unbroken Chips in our bag appeared a little on the small side. There were brown edges and browning on some Chips, and there was notable seasoning, but it was less red than you regularly see with Barbecue seasoning. If anything there seemed to be more crushed black pepper than paprika seasoning.

Taste
Unlike most Barbecue Chips, our Nose Plunge Test did not reveal much of an aroma. The taste was a little spicy, but it was more of a tomatoey pepper. There was also a hint of sweet ketchup. Perhaps because it was all a little mild, but it seemed a rather confused flavor - Almost like half of it wanted to be Barbecue the other half couldn't be bothered.
