Verdict

Bag

A classic Chip and a classic design. The metallic blue and golden writing explaining that the contents are All Natural, plus the traditional image bubble in the centre are very good graphics. It is of course a little dated, but it would be to retain the traditional look.

Crunch

It says these Chips are Crispy on the packet, and they are. A light, crumbly crunch which can turn a handful into a crackling mouthful of mushy potato pretty quickly.

Texture

A standard, no frills, basic and simple, Chip. A standard thickness upon which any could be designed. There are some blemishes and natural colors. Little in the way of seasoning, and a pretty large amount of grease.

Taste

The corn/cottonseed oil these Chips are cooked in may give them a bit of crispy crunch, but it also brings out the flavor of the potatoes and salt. The relatively highly saturated fat is noticeable, but you get that with the tastiest Chips.
