Charles Chips modernisation of their original home delivery tins (right up until the 1970s), features retro styled bags that fit into a modern environment. The logo is large, but not over-powering, the flavor and Chip style color coding is easily identifiable, but best of all they have managed to use brown colors and little dots to make a fabulous design.

Crunch
These were the most crunchy of Charles Chips varieties. The rippled cut of the Waffle (should Waffle Cut have a cut going the opposite direction as well?) variety, makes them thicker and more crunchy. They Snap Test was not quite as kind; splinters were produced when a good sized Chip was broken in half, but overall, pretty good.
Texture
These Chips were lightly colored like Charles Chips Original flavor, but were thicker and Ridged. The marcelled cut has seen to it that more Chips remain whole. There is little seasoning and they are less oily than the regular Chips.
.
Taste
Less greasy than the standard Original flavor and these may have absorbed a little more salt. They therefore had a bit more taste and the thicker Ridged cut of the Chips also made it feel like you were eating something more substantial.
