"Canada is one in over 20 overseas markets that Mackie’s Crisps has entered since being formed as a joint venture between Mackie’s of Scotland and third generation potato farmers, the Taylor family, in 2009. The company selects the best varieties of Scottish-farmed crisping potatoes, which are naturally grown and cooked gently to ensure a great crunch, fresh potato taste and dry texture. Their traditional and ‘Specialty Scottish’ flavours have proven extremely popular around the world and, as their export business continues to grow, the company has recently expanded into a new factory in Errol – which is around twice the size of their previous facility – to enable them to meet rising demand."
