Of all Bob's outstanding Texas Style Chips bag designs, this would stand out in any aisle of the supermarket. For what is a rather mundane sounding flavor, the packaging is inviting and worth investigation, at the very least. Certainly in our Top Ten Chips bags.
Crunch
Just the same as all of Bob's Texas Style Chips, these Kettle Cooked fellas are firm, thick and crunch ready. A mouthful feels like a crunchy meal, rather than a few Potato Chips.
Texture
These Kettle Cooked Chips appeared a little less greasy than most, although that is a texture feeling. The oil raised bubbles still lived on the somewhat thin potato slices and there was visible seasoning. A few different shapes, sizes, curly, folded and some stuck together.
Taste
Bob's Texas Style appear to have more sodium content than the vast majority of the other Chips companies include within their Kettle Chips. You could therefore be forgiven for thinking these Chips would feel a little salt heavy. Instead the blend was really good. You don't quite feel like Wile E. Coyote after a mouthful of alum, but a drink would be handy. A great pub chip.
